German industry and trade companies are not utilizing the RFID technologiy potential (Radio-Frequency-Identification-Technologie). Reasons are inconsistencies in realisation of the procedural technology and related tasks when introducing RFID. And there seemed to be some technical difficulties as well, maybe following the mentioned inconsistencies.
This leads to the conclusion that industry, companies and service partners as well have to learn how to implement technologies, that enhance communication and dense logistical tasks. The question is: Efficient processes only work when each unit communicates fluent with its process partners. This is how web2.0 works. And this is how industry and economical processes will have to work as well. The communication challenge of 2008 also calls for changes in "old industry".
